Internship Opportunities

Fonkoze may offer a variety of internships throughout each year. We look for highly motivated interns whose skills match our needs in a range of areas. If you are interested, please contact us to learn of available opportunities.
To intern in Haiti, we ask that interns plan to spend at least three months in Haiti, though six months is preferred, have some level of Kreyòl (preferred) and/or French proficiency, and possess the financial means to cover travel to and expenses in Haiti. Please note: Our internships are unpaid.
Past interns, as an example, have helped devise research surveys to assess the speed with which our poorest members climb out of poverty, examined the role of village assistance committees’ role in our members’ progress and served as financial analysts for Fonkoze Financial Services.

Volunteer Opportunities

If you are interested in starting a local group in support of Fonkoze USA in your hometown or volunteering in our Washington, DC office, please contact Fonkoze USA to learn more.
