Empowering Entrepreneurs in Haiti: Q3 Results from Fonkoze’s Economic Opportunity Program
At Fonkoze, we believe in creating sustainable opportunities for entrepreneurs in Haiti. Thanks to the support of our donors and partners, the Economic Opportunity Program is making a measurable impact. Here are some highlights from the third quarter of 2024:
- 62% of participating businesses increased their revenue, far surpassing the original target of 15%.
- 25 businesses were strengthened, exceeding our goal of 10 businesses.
- 116 entrepreneurs participated in the program, with 59% of them women—showcasing our commitment to gender inclusion.
- The average income of participants increased by 7,549 HTG, from 12,006.9 HTG to 19,556.03 HTG on average.
